The Jaguar 04:43
Verse 1 My Life has been on the line, So many times and I ask myself why I was born into the storm of life Who needs a plate of armour When your Spirit knows what's the best I outshook the arrows from my chest The stories of creation gave me breath Verse 2 I felt my soul touch the desert floor As the Mother she spoke to me She said write your songs on ancient lines For this life is a mirror for you to see That maybe its not about what you get But its about what you truly give, And how could anything be taken, When your spirit will always live Chorus And the thunder came by As the Fire washed the sky Then came an eagle To sing creations lullaby How could anything be taken, When your spirit will always live, Its not about what you get, Its about what you truly give Verse 3 My heart lives in the jungle Caressed by a jaguar with old skin Sometimes he runs inside, The sacred songs he will always sing Guided by the forces of the forest, Our ancestors hold us to be honest, The truth in the leaves and the wind, Grandfathers wisdom so deep within Chorus And the thunder came by As the Fire washed the sky Then came an eagle To sing creations lullaby How could anything be taken, When your spirit will always live, Its not about what you get, Its about what you truly give Chorus And the thunder came by As the Fire washed the sky Then came an eagle To sing creations lullaby How could anything be taken, When your spirit will always live, Its not about what you get, Its about what you truly give

about

After some years of having a pause on my music career and a focus on a deeper connection to nature, journeying through different Indigenous tribes and going through a protocol of initiations.

My music has matured to a deeper resonance of compositions that are written for the Earth, the healing and coming together of humanity, for a connection to nature and to honour the sacred.

After these years, and some very deep ceremonial prayers such as Vision Quest and Sundance in Central America and Mexico, I had the guidance that it was time to start bringing through these compositions and allowing the world to hear them.

Several days after Sundance and going to a sacred place called Wirikuta, I decided to compose some of these songs I've been singing on guitar for piano recordings to produce this EP 'No Need For Words' which would then give the support and abundance to record my next EP (which is being currently recorded.)

I would like to thank my Elders, and the tribes who gave me the opportunity to learn and to deepen my connection to the sacred.
To the fireplace of the Teocalli Quetzalcoatl,
To my friends and family who have deeply supported me in these years of prayer,
To Snap Films MX for recording and filming this EP,
To Christopher Mena for doing the Artwork,
and for my friends and family in Mexico who supported me to record this EP.

This is a prayer and a beginning of a series of prayers that will be recorded and filmed, for an ongoing dedication to write songs for the Earth, her beauty and her sacredness.
